Marvel Comics or DC comics, Coke or Pepsi, Ford or GM. Great rivalries bring out the best in competitors which makes them stand out from the crowd.  Mobile phone usage has become a part of our lives. Mobile phones contain hardware and software. These days there are many mobile companies and they develop their own operating systems for mobiles to function. Many companies are trying to develop the product innovatively to stand in the competition. Another comparison can be made on Android and iOS as they are always competing to be the best among the two. 


These two operating systems seem quite similar but at the same time are very different in many aspects.

 Android was created by Google and Apple launched iOS in 2007. Over the past decade, these two rivals are working to outperform themselves by offering such enticing features which you can’t get from others.

Android is a mobile operating system based on a modified version of the Linux kernel and is commercially sponsored by Google. It was unveiled in November 2007, with the first commercial Android device launched in September 2008.

iOS is a mobile operating system created and developed by Apple Inc. It is the operating system that powers many of the company's mobile devices, including the iPhone and iPod Touch. It is the world's second-most widely installed mobile operating system, after Android.  

 Advantages of Android OS over Apple iOS

  • Android users are a variety of choices and Apple offers limited options

  • The universality of Android-compatible accessories

  • It offers a customizable aesthetic experience

  • Android offers greater control over your device compared to iOS

  • App offerings on Android are far higher in number

  • Progressive Web App support is a big plus on Android


Advantages of Apple iOS over Android OS
