This musical instrument possibly invented in Spain at the starting of the 16th century. The term Guitarra Latina gibe the name which is an instrument having a waisted body and some strings. Guitar transformed with time from the 16th century to the 19th century. Many changes occurred in this instrument, with the addition and replacement of some strings, experiments occurred without altering the standard tuning. The guitar basically made from wood and steel strings. But the modern guitar is way more advanced. Prior to any further advancement of the electrical guitar and the usage of artificial materials, the guitar was a long flat wooden board producing sound. The origin of the guitar probably is not revealed properly via its name. This is derived from the syllogism, look it that way guitar as “Geetar” Geet + tar suggest an instrument with strings and the term geet is a Sanskrit word for song. Guitar has been chosen for classical music for a long time and it is not a well-known fact that the late Shri Gopal Singh had learned guitar from Ustad Hafiz Ali Khan Sahib. The instrument turned quite popular after the different experiments. With the entry in cinema and starting presence in India, Bollywood music the western style started to show. The ongoing boom of the electric guitar in America followed by the fast allowing in jazz with popular music did not take much time to enter India. The slow appearance of recorded music and craze of radio stations post-independence, the acceptance of Rock n roll including jazz raised in many Indian cities, mostly in the metropolis. But the English lyrics present with western focused on music still. Indian music had the least following. The wooden guitar with steel strings started appearing in the region mostly due to the church work presence and hence Goa also emerged as the proper place for the guitar. The rest work started happening after the liberalization in 1991 i.e. the increasing availability of music and instruments.
