 Impact of COVID19 Pandemic


Nowadays our world is facing a very difficult situation due to the coronavirus pandemic. Many countries including India have announced a lockdown and people are now living in quarantine. All activities are put on halt. This will really affect the economic condition of the whole world. 

In India, prime minister Narendra Modi has announced a lockdown of 21 days. This step is really crucial for the prevention of coronavirus spread. Everywhere in the media, people are requested to remain quarantined. Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media are overflooded with different quotes, videos, GIFs, etc to motivate people to stay home and remain safe. Initially, when lockdown had just been announced people started to panic for their daily needs such as groceries and other essentials. They went to the market and started buying things for long days and in consequence of that, the price of every item rose to its peak value until the government announced that any shortage of essential items will not happen in the near future.

In spite of these demerits of this pandemic, there is some positive side also. After this lockdown people get sufficient time to do some other activities that were not possible earlier due to busy schedules. They are now enjoying their passions like watching T.V serials, movies, etc due to this internet consumption increases by almost 15%. People now have sufficient time to learn some new skills. One of the greatest qualities that are shown by people today is Unity. Peoples from different regions and religions have joined their hands together to fight against this pandemic.

 Due to lockdowns in various countries, the earth gets some time to relax. Every type of pollution now reaches its bottom value e.g. Air pollution in cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Patna, Kolkata, etc where air quality was very dangerous has now become very safe. Studies show that the Ozone layer has now started healing itself. Nowadays we can easily observe that many animals and birds are freely roaming on the roads. It is really said that “actually people are the viruses and coronavirus is the vaccine created by earth to reduce some viruses”.
