Have you ever been late to important meetings? Well, we all have faced this situation and do have a list of excuses to cover up the same.  One of the most said excuses being that we were stuck in traffic, though most of the time, it is the real reason. How I wish that I had a flying car that means no traffic and would save a lot of time. But, that's quite not practical as of now. 


THE SAVIOR-

So, I got to know about this app called WAZE; it tells you about the traffic on your route and also tells the fastest way to teach your destination. All you need to do is download the app and have a good internet connection and of course GPS facility on your smartphone. 


 LET'S EXPLORE WAZE...

It was launched in 2006 by Israeli programmer, Ehud Shabtai. The primary aim was to help the drivers in saving their time by knowing the severity of traffic on their way and also optional routes they can use for reaching their destination. In 2008, the app was purchased by Google.


 HOW DOES WAZE EARN MONEY?

The cost of building an app is expensive and as well using AI and other modern technology makes it more costly. It becomes important to recover the cost along with earning profits.

Waze earns money through the advertisement system. That is, the app does a paid advertising of restaurants, hotels, shops, malls, etc. By displaying their advertisement on the screen of the wazer who is using the app as a recommendation of warning them about nearby facilities on their way. 

The Waze takes money from the advertisers on the basis of PER - PAY CLICK i.e for a specific number of visits by the users on the advertisement. 

FEATURES OF WAZE

☆ It tells about the estimated time you would take for reaching your destination. 

☆ Compares and tells about where you can get relatively cheaper fuel.

CONCLUSION 

This helps in a way helps you save money, as time is money.
