  NEURALINK’S BRAIN-MACHINE INTERFACE Neuralink is a neurotechnology company founded in 2016 by Elon Musk , Ben Rapoport, Dongjin Seo, Max Hodak, Paul Merolla, Philip Sabes, Tim Gardner, Tim Hanson, and Vanessa Tolosa. The company aims to build implantable Brain-Machine Interfaces(BMIs) via artificial intelligence. The technology would see groups of minute, flexible electrode "threads" implanted into the human brain. These threads are capable of detecting and recording signals in the brain and transmit the information outside. They have also built a neurosurgical robot that can implant six threads per minute into the human brain. Each thread is supposedly smaller than one-tenth of a human hair and contains 192 electrodes. Each group of electrodes is encased inside a small implantable device that contains custom wireless chips. The threads would be inserted into the brain by a tiny needle at the end of the robot.   Hima Das: The Story of India’s Golden Girl Hima Das is an Indian sprinter who hails from Assam. In a country that has a drought of sprinters, Das is like a refreshing drizzle. The 19-year-old is the first and the only Indian athlete to ever win a gold medal in a track event at the IAAF World U20 Championships. Das is also the holder of the current Indian national record in 400 meters with a timing of 50.79 seconds that she clocked at the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games, Indonesia. Earlier in 2019, Hima set a new milestone by winning 5 consecutive international gold medals in just 20 days.
